what to do with a yard of fleece

Last year I made some fast and easy fleece items

to make for Christmas gifts. This year I looked around to see what else I could make. Here are some fun and functional things that are quick to put together and fun also.

If you don't get them done by Christmas, and then what? The winter is just beginning and Jan is pretty cold hither in Connecticut.

First of all, let me say I Beloved working with fleece.You don't have to worry near raveling because fleece doesn't ravel. It's a nice weight as well to sew together with on the sewing auto or even by hand. It'due south a forgiving textile so yous can make mistakes and they don't show equally much every bit a fault on a thinner fabric.

There are scads and scads of different patterns and colors of fleece. Fun!

CAPES

SCARVES

I fabricated this pretty fleece scarf but
by buying the fleece at Joann's, almost
1/4 yard or 1/3 thousand. Then just
trimming it evenly.

You can make dozens of these in
no fourth dimension at all... wait for a 50 or fifty-fifty threescore % auction at Joann'southward and they will be having some great sales, especially black Friday. :)
